Foam Technology

In 1999, PUNTO MED entered into a joint venture with a leading Company specialized in the field of plastic extrusion lines, and since then, we developed several complete extrusion lines for boards, sheets and profiles in expanded PS, PE, PP and PET, using blowing agents of the new generation. These extrusion lines were delivered throughout these years to Italian and European Clients who, since then, have increased their productivity by buying their 2nd and even 3rd extrusion lines with always larger outputs. This fact demonstrates that there is a large growing demand for these expanded plastic materials all over the world.

All our extrusion lines are completely assembled in our Italian factory and wet-commissioned in the presence of the Customers Engineers, prior to shipment. By proceeding in this way, our Customers are 100% sure that the erection and final start-up of the line, in their Country, will be completed smoothly and efficiently.

Our production program includes also all auxiliary installations necessary to operate the production line, starting from the storage and distribution system of the blowing agent, to the storage, transport and dosing system of the different raw materials, up to the packaging units for the finished products. Recycling lines for the expanded scraps are also produced by us.

Nowadays, we are one of the leading European companies for turnkey extrusion lines for the production of expanded plastic materials, based on the application of expanded foam technology.
